The causes of vaginal relaxation is congenital structural relaxation, the vagina dilates and muscle elasticity is weakened after women have miscarriages or give birth, the prolapse is due to chronic abdominal pressure, such as chronic lifting of heavy objects or chronic cough and so on.

Treatment of Vaginal Relaxation

Surgery is the only effective treatment for vaginal relaxation. The traditional surgery involves removing a piece of the vaginal mucosa and suturing it up, they don’t realize that the vagina relaxation is because the tissues inside it are damaged, plus the mucous membrane is very stretchy, it still won’t repair the damaged muscles and was prone to recurrence soon after the surgery.

The bridge constriction surgery is the operation invented by Beijing Antai Hospital. Firstly, the bridge constriction is the one surgery that does not remove tissue, suture the excess intramucosal envelope into the rectovaginal space to thicken the rectovaginal space; Secondly, suture the vagina longitudinally around the end of muscles and bridge, this shortens the vaginal circulatory muscle; Thirdly, suture the two sides of the outer edge of the mucosa makes the mucosa tightened a lot. It not only shortens the vaginal circulatory muscle, but also thickens the tissue around the vagina. This is the so called bridge constriction surgery that with no recurrence. The bridge constriction surgery can help patients with vaginal relaxation return to prenatal status.
